The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating after a body was located in the South Saskatchewan River on Saturday.
Police received a report at 11:47 a.m. about a possible body spotted in the river near the Train Bridge, the service said in a media release.
The Saskatoon Fire Department attended the scene and retrieved the body of a man from the water. Life saving measures were attempted, but the man was pronounced dead.
Police say more information will be provided as it becomes available.
